THE UNREAL AND THE REAL: SELECTED STORIES

by Ursula Le Guin

Slate Book Review had a lot a great articles posted yesterday. Choire Sicha, who I remember as a writer for Gawker back when it was interesting and funny, wrote an impressive piece on Ursula Le Guin's upcoming two volumes of selected short stories. I suppose I have neglected her, but I intend to look into these stories.

There was also a thought-provoking piece by Jessica Roake that made the case for David Mitchell's Black Swan Green as the new Catcher in the Rye. And another on the controversial National Book Award for 1962, Walker Percy's The Moviegoer.
